The Gawler Golf Club plays host to a large number of tournaments each year which are strongly supported by Golf Club Members and visitors. These include:

• Gawler Classic Golf Open; Held in late April, with the 30^th Anniversary in 2008

• Gawler Pro-Am
  Traditionally held in April
• Sportman Days
• Ambrose Fun Days
  June and December
• Ham and Turkey Day
  Held in early December

Twilight 9-hole competitions are held each Tuesday during daylight saving months, starting around 4.00pm. Visitors are most welcome to participate.

Guest Days are regularly held throughout the year on both Thursdays and Saturdays.

Several special events for visiting ladies are held throughout the year, usually on Wednesdays.
